David Leggio is currently playing for the Buffalo Sabres AHL affiliate Rochester Americans and this summer will be once again directing goalie lessons at the Northtown Center. The Williamsville native grew up playing in the Anherst youth hockey system and played NCAA Hockey at Clarkson University.

Gardner Goaltending is excited to announce that David Leggio will be directing Lessons at the Northtown Center again this summer as well as all 2012 GGI camps. Leggio is in his second year with the Buffalo Sabres organization playing for the AHL Rochester Americans. The Williamsville native grew up through the Amherst youth hockey system before moving on to playing Junior Hockey in the EJHL.
Leggio has been a goalie coach for over 5 years with Gardner Goaltending and is an expert in his field. Through his playing career he has had the privelage to work with some of the most respected goalie coaches in the world, which he applies to his teachings. Leggio's work ethic and attention to detail will not only give your child the most modern techniques and drills available, it will push them to be their best... asking one question HOW FAR CAN YOU GO?
Gardner Goaltending conducts small group lessons at the Amherst Pepsi Center. There is a maximum of 8 goalies per session and will have a 2:1 instructor / student ratio. The lessons begin with footwork repetitions, stick handling and passing drills as well as the customized shooting for that session.
